The Referral Process
Patients are seen by referral from a primary care vet at Southpaws Monday through Friday, usually in the morning. Routine procedures take place Monday through Thursday afternoons and we are available for emergencies 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The night before the consultation, pets should be fasted unless you are told otherwise. Diabetic patients should receive guidance from their primary care vets. Water is OK right up until the time of surgery.
