Part-Time Receptionist, Southpaws Specialty Surgery – Mornington
We are seeking a Part-Time Receptionist to join our team!

The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, willing to go the extra mile and have an eye for detail. Compassion and empathy for both people and their furry family members is a must. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team whilst demonstrating strong communication skills, along with having a collaborative team approach.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in Reception or Customer Support
- Medical background or Veterinary Reception/Nurse background is preferred but not essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills and phone manner
- Excellent at time management and multi-tasking
- Polite and resilient nature
- A willingness to get involved in all areas of the clinic.
- Energetic and driven.
- Ability to use initiative, assume responsibility for tasks and to resolve problems.
- Knowledge of ezyVet advantageous but not essential
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- 30 hour working week
- Delivering outstanding client care to all patients and owners
- Handling client enquiries professionally in person, by email and over the phone
- Administration duties and associated tasks
- Managing the day-to-day appointment schedule
- Taking payments and balancing the banking at the end of the day
- Product sales and client education
- Ensuring front of house is always clean and presentable.
