Dr. Kristin Freund is excited to join SouthPaws as a surgical specialist. She has specific interests in surgical oncology, general soft tissue surgery, and elective orthopedic procedures. She recently relocated with her partner from Denver, Colorado, USA. With diverse training in large institutions, including Colorado State University, Cornell University, and the University of Georgia, she brings a variety of knowledge to our already well-versed Melbourne surgery team. She aims to help owners actively participate in their pet’s surgical care and develop patient-specific treatment plans to enhance their furry family member’s quality of life. Outside of work, Dr. Kristin enjoys spending time with her two dachshunds, lifting weights, snowboarding, reading books, and exploring Melbourne’s culinary scene.
