Peter grew up in Melbourne where his interest in science and his childhood Labrador motivated him pursue veterinary career. After completing his Bachelor of Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland in 2021, Peter moved to Perth, where he has since worked in emergency and critical care. He has completed postgraduate courses in emergency medicine and trauma. In 2024 Peter joined the ECC team at Southpaws, after making the move back to Melbourne with his partner Julie. Outside of work, Peter enjoys an active lifestyle with his three dogs—Teddington, a Bull Terrier; Celest, a Greyhound-Irish Wolfhound cross; and Tess, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He loves hiking, playing tennis, and spending quality time with family.
