Southpaws rotating internship is a yearlong training program for qualified veterinarians. We welcome several veterinarians into our internship program annually. Our rotating Interns vary in experience from new graduates to experienced veterinarians.

Southpaws’ interns rotate through our Mornington and Moorabbin hospitals and gain valuable training and experience in all departments. You are likely to meet one of our highly skilled veterinarians during your consultation, recheck or discharge appointment. Our rotating interns work very closely with our senior/specialist veterinarians to deliver a high standard of care to you and your pets.

After completion of the rotating internship, many of our interns have continued to develop their careers at Southpaws through Surgical internships and residencies. Many of our specialist surgeons began their careers in the rotating internship and have progressed to incredible surgeons.
